Featured Project: Welch Park Landscaping, April-June 2024
The Welch Park Landscaping Improvement Project begins mid-April through June 2024, to refresh the park’s look, improve the native habitat and attract native pollinators.

The park, located at 9015 E. 朱厄尔Cir. in unincorporated Arapahoe County, will remain open for walk-in use, but areas of the park will be closed in phases to complete the landscaping work. The parking lot will be closed for prep and staging throughout the project. For your safety, please stay out of fenced-off areas and use the southeast gate for park access.

多年来, residents have asked for more native plants to support pollinator habitat, and we are ready to deliver! The total landscaping renovation will include new irrigation and 10 new and improved plant beds, including 884 new shrubs and plants—mostly drought-tolerant native vegetation—and five new trees, providing additional shade for park users.

Project is expected to be completed by end of June 2024. For more information, contact Arapahoe County 开放空间 at 720-874-6540 or email askopenspaces@kartacab.com
